Cry The Heart Of Willow

RSS

By Don't build lies on ice cubes.

Bitter cold rips through the air It lashes into each eye Simple chemistry forms And it pours as you start to cry Rolling with increasing force It greets your cheek with grace Speeds up as it aims for the floor A rapid moving pace Beautiful the willow As she stands tall and lone The arms reach out then fall back down None witness how shes grown And although her fingers touch the floor They keep on reaching far Above her clouds blanket the sky And they're hiding every star But the stars are out there for her Push back up towards the sky Dont let the cold rip through And keep on aiming high Stumble once then twice for luck Shut the eye against the pain And if the water starts to flow Realise its just the rain Salted tears will cease to hurt If they fall consistantly Eventually the pace shall slow And clearly you can see So take heed from the willow As her beauty shines on through Listen to the voice within And cry your tears for you Dont cry them for another It wont make them weak or strong Cry them in true selfishness Will all barriers to be gone And cry your heart to heaven Cry your soul to the highest peak Cry for all eternity But don't cry that you are weak For your tears are your strength The emotions of your hurt They let the rip start to heal Even though you crawl through dirt The floor is looking familiar As you sink back to the start Fall against the rooted willow The symbol of your heart So although your eye's in pain Dont let it be the end Allow the heart to cry And trust that it shall mend The salt will disappear And the floor will fall behind The willow will stand next to you And a whole heart you shall find
