The Name, by Convalescence
|
My life used to be in the shadows,
I was always controlled.
It felt as if darkness surrounded,
My pain would never be shown.
Then life took a turn for the good,
My controllers all dissappeared,
and I got free reign on my life.
It was nothing that I understood.
Even with the brightest of suns,
some things are still in the shade.
Now things are in my control,
And there's still a battle to be won.
As I have gone on in decision,
Things have become very clear.
I have to learn from mistakes,
there's no other way to win.
The battle is one we all fight,
and sometimes it is very hard.
There is one word to describe,
The name of that battle is life. |
