Pretender, by Simply-Me-20104
|
All the smiles are fake
All the joy is only momentary
The happiness will break
Pretending may be arbitrary
I get up each day, I smile
I say 'hello' and socialize
I do my best, but all the while
Pretending while my spirit dies
Pretend like nothing's wrong
Pretend like all is well
Pretend like I'm strong
And I bet you couldn't tell...

Definately not my best work... but it's my first w/ the
