How Dare You Patronize Me, by Lovecrafter
|
You might think me sad
And easily depressed
However,
And here's the punch line,
I'm just a bit bad
And mostly self-impressed
You might feel my pain
And some of all my wrath
But yet,
And here's the decline
I'm an assumed vein
And a negative path
You might taste me ill
And darkly wretched
Even so,
And here's the real sign
I'm just a mole hill
And a nail imbedded
You might see my tears
And both of my three ails
But still,
And here's the land mine
I'm not one who fears
And not a front that veils
Do you feel people get the wrong idea about your poetry
sometimes? |

Sometimes, but doesn't matter...it's all interpretation, people have various experiences and used that experience to relate...well expressed |
