What Will It Take For You To Notice Me Mom, by die for my poetry
|
You are my world.
Don’t you see that mom?
I can’t help the way
I am.
I wish I could change, but how?
I don’t know what to do.
There isn’t any pictures of you and
I, but there is you
and her.
Do you see me
standing here mom?
Do you even pay any
Attention to me?
If I were to kill my self
Today mom would you notice me
then?
Don’t you hear my
Cries for you mom
I’m slipping away.
Please listen to me
Mom don’t you know
I’m your real daughter?
If I could I would try to
Be just like her mom
Would you love me
then?
My time is almost
Up.
Please listen for my
cries for you.
Save me.
You’re the only one that can
Here me just listen.
I really messed up now mom,
As I get rushed to the hospital.
My life is just about gone mom.
I can’t cry out for you any
More for I’ve
Lost to much blood
My heart is stopping now mom.
I’m lying here as
The nurse pulls the sheet over my head.
Do you notice me now mom
Don’t you remember me?
You are my hero mom but you just let me
Fade away.
You hear the phone ringing
You run to answer it
You throw you self to
The ground now
and you realize that
The strange feeling
in the pit of you stomach was me
mom.
You go up to my room
now.
You see a letter and two
Halves of a picture taped
Together
You read it out loud
To yourself
Mom,
You’re my hero, you always will
be please don’t let me go
Always remember I’m your daughter.
I found a picture of you and I today.
I hope you like it,
it’s the only one mom.
I am sorry things ended the way they
did but you weren’t ever there for me
I needed a home that cared.
I’m in heaven now mom
Were I do belong
I wasn’t meant to be on
Earth so for now on look to the
sky’s and no I’m your baby girl.
