Old Shoes, by Lifes a Dance
|
for so long ive walked in these old shoes, stumbling along
feeling so blue, the soles are worn the leather faded from
walking a walk i always hated. then one day by this little
church i walked, i stopped in my tracks as if these old
shoes could talk. they said fear not you will stumble no
more all you have to do is open those doors. inside these
doors i found family and hope, just when i thought i could
no longer cope. my life has changed so much and i know this
much is true, when you walk with jesus even old shoes feel
new. |

this poem says so much in such a short time.It speaks far more than what words are actually written. To me, that is as close to perfection, and still leaves room for improvment. awesome! |

Noticed on "FAITH"s poetry, you mentioned brown county, indiana and the beautiful colorful hills there in the fall. i love that place too. simply beautiful. that coment on her sight brought me to read your poetry. very good. |
