Time doesn't change what u refuse to let go., by more then just that girl
|
5 months old.
She can't understand anything she is told.
Cries at different times every night.
One to look hours at a flashing night light.
She's learning to crawl
and throwing blocks
and unfortunatly learning of her voice box.
4 years old.
She loves playing in the cold.
She goes on and on
With Bob the Builder
And that she "won"
Very independent and demanding.
If she didn't get it she did nothing short of screaming and
yelling.
It was always a fight.
Between us every night.
16 years.
I can't believe that time is here.
Im watching her talk.
I can't get out of my head how professional she will walk.
Even now
she runs with her mouth.
She can tell me anything, I swore not to judge.
She told me of prom
And the boy that came along.
She told me of her school.
And how she fell a fool.
Now shes 19
She is getting married today
I never seen this day comming anyway.
A tear fell when i seen the one person in my life
That id give the world to
Start her own life thats exciting and new.
I look at my own husband
Then at hers.
When the party came to and end.
Even though it was offical
The moment he kissed her.
She'd forever be...my baby sister. |
