Hypnotic Angel (Spoken Word Poetry posted on Youtube), by LostSoul
|
This woman in my dreams I see
She stares knowingly at me
As if we’ve met before
A time when darkness ruled
And she was my jewel
Her long black hair
And her skin tight red dress
Flows lovingly aching for my caress
She uses her hands to tease
As if asking me to come over please
But memories remind me
That crows fly overhead
Clouds of darkness fills the sky
Warning me of my demise
If I choose to compromise
Then I have to be ready for when she flies
She looks so innocent though
As if she’s not capable
Of evil or death
Or it could be my heart deceiving me
In believing that love can exist
From a woman who chooses her prey
Of man believing in her every way
Cause today
She has me thinking of sunshine rays
And tomorrow maybe
I can change her ways
