i run as far as i can
and then one more tear falls to the ground
i lift my head up
and take one last look around
i look up to the gray sky for an answer
but instead it starts to rain
i know i am losing this fight
my whole body is full of pain

you look at me and think im fine
but you could never believe what ive been through
ive done stupid things
because i didnt know what to do

but its o.k.
since ive got friends who care
they have lived through it with me
so i know they'll always be there

with this i know
that i can make it through
only because of the love and friendship
 of my friends like u

i run as far as i can
as one last tear falls to the ground

and take another look around

i look up to find a clear sky
and i no longer feel the rain
i realize my fight is not over but is to win
i must fight the pain

and even though this fight will come back
and the rain will fall sheepishly from the sky
i must know that you will be there for me
to catch my tears as my pain will come back.....
