Forces, by suzieQ
|
Between two forces
Am I pulled
Back and forth, relentless
Until at last
I know I will
Crumble my own fortress
One pull is sweet
A simple tug
A tug at my troubled heart
Bashful… almost
An intriguing force
Gently tearing my emotions apart
The other force, brash-
Exciting, it’s true
Provoking a sensual pain
Indecisive, unsure
Faltering, collapsing
Yet my body doesn’t mind the strain
Heartstring tug-o-war
Over an ominous
Pit of mud
How will I choose, what will I do
Between two so-
So opposite
There will be no win. There is only to lose.
