There once were three girls
A blonde and two brunettes
No redhead to fit the cliche
But beauty no-one could forget
They walked in heels to lectures
Carrying starbucks in their hand
They laughed and gossiped and judged
With their lifes ahead all planned
The girls were pretty darn smart you see
Lawyers by day and cocktails at night
They walked through London heads held high
And people would stop to watch the sight
But one of them, she ruined it all
She came crashing to the ground
Turning on them both slowly over time
Without making a single sound
Until suddenly she simply morphed
From the girl the other two knew inside out
Became a stranger in the midst
As she began to scream and shout
For no apparent reason.
It's one I still don't know.
She lost the two people she truly loved.
When she stooped to an almighty low.
She couldn't be happy that they were
Despite having everything she could ever need
She scratched and clawed to bring them down.
Yet she lost them as she others she tried to mislead.
And how you stupid girl could you do that
Turn upon the two who knew you best
Why did you have to ruin it all
When we were at our very best
I miss you every single day
Yet you're nowhere to be found
It's lonely knowing youre so near
But we're better people without you around
I wish every day you'd never done it
Never turned on your very own
That we'd carried on in our heels with starbucks
And that we wouldnt be in this alone. |
