Universe, by bedazzled
|
So lost
amongst the planet rings
and satellites.
I see the stars
twinkle at me,
guiding the way
but I let myself become
eclipsed.
Letting the cosmic dust
settle on my eyelashes,
on my shredded heart.
Listening to its irregular beat
pulsing through infinity.
I try to gouge your name
from my bones.
Lunar lies
and empty space.
Space is what you wanted
and I have granted your wish.
There is a universe between us.
I shouldn't be alive here.
I should be dead. |
