Tears Fall, by Kristin
|
Tears fall when I think of you
And all the pain I put you through
And all the things I could not do
To keep you happy, safe and sound.
Tears fall when I try to prove
I can make it through
I can rescue you
Help pick you up from off the ground.
Tears fall when you say my name
Placing the blame on me
It rests heavy on my shoulders
All these accusations will not escape my mind.
Tears fall because you made it through
Pushed your limits
Pushed through the pain and agony
No more fences to contain your anguish.
Rest easy now, my love
Take a deep breath, it's all over.
Lean your head against my chest
And I'll wipe away the tears that fall.
