Mothers, by Tyler Jon Warnecke

Mothers
By: Tyler Warnecke
Mothers give birth to you and I
so much pain they go by.
Mothers nurture us with care
all we can do is watch and stare.
As we age we become more of a pain
yet mother's love is still the same.
When we reach our teenage years
we get defiant and have little care.
Mothers will get tired and old
as they watch their babies grow.
When we reach adulthood we leave
you to cry, as we step out and say
goodbye.
When you're old and grey
we'll nurture you as you once
did for us.
