When you see someone on the street You just walked past and didn't do anything That little girls scream for her mother still haunts you because you just ignored her That day you saw that woman get hit by her husband you shook your head and said thats really sad How could you.... You stood their and watched as a person was robbed Your fear is what made you lock the car door A child with marks on her leg that aren't from falling but you didn't pay it any attention Can you tell me why? is it because you were once that person that needed help you were the child that was picked on yet nobody stood up for you all they did was just sit and stare So this the curse that you have taken on To hear the cries of all those that you have done wrong Now you know the pain of your wrong doers because you are now one of them
