today we celebrate a special day
a day that goes back to a long time
when our country was in war
when there was blood shed on our floor
when all the brave soldiers sacrificed their lives
for our country
these are the colors of freedom
red,white,and blue
the colors that remain our honor so true
it was that day that changed our world
when people suffered for what they believed in
it was pain and from other countries a sin
this day is for the colors of freedom
with bravery
they wouldn't give in 
or surrender without a breath
and give up whatever was left
and now we represent these colors
red,white and blue
the colors of freedom 
that was given to us
by those lost  
in that tragic
day
for all they had to pay
a debt to our country 
they are the colors of freedom
all is done
and all we had is gone
except for our independence 
and freedom
they are the colors of our flag
red for blood-blue for the ocean and white for the clouds
we can scream it out loud
this day we celebrate today
is for all the ones who were lost
for the colors of freedom
we love you all
and shall remember 
their great sacrifice 
and for the colors of our country
the colors of freedom
