Clip My Wings (Not My Tongue)

By Lovecrafter

I tend to spread myself too thin Don't look where I'm stepping in Train wreck in a flowery disguise I can never trust my own eyes Take what you want from me While its still on the market for free You're gonna need what you reap Know that later won't come so cheap Keep agitating So infuriating Save your breath For breathing I don't even bother to unpack For I know soon I will go back We compete for most miserable But in the end we're just the rubble So I can be a little naughty But it's far better than your haughty My head is glued to the clouds You're down fighting with the crowds Clip my wings But I still have my legs I'll just baby step My way home Don't see it Then I must believe it Just maybe trust you Not your words
