freedom and happiness are concepts outdated
in this country our human rights are debated
and then tossed aside and proclaimed unrelated
our money's inflated, our citizens jaded
our leaders just laugh cuz our pockets they've raided
and if you personally arent feeling degraded
its just a matter of time before youre persuaded
