we live our own
each and different
walks of life
but we're connected
somehow..
we're alike.

and somehow
we can overcome
these patterns
of self indulgence
to see,
and be seen
to understand.

we're fought
and we're sworn
we're lied and
made up rumours
we've made mistakes
but overcoming them
is a big step to take.

when you can
stop looking down
and step down
seeing eye to eye
then we can be friends
again
when you let these 
differences slide.

when i step down
or you step up
or i step up
whichever way
it may be
when finially
it is eye to eye we see
that is when
friends
become
again
you and me.

and not just one
there is a group
and we've hurt each other
deep and bad
we've said terrible things
causing poeple to get mad.
but whatever now
that's all done
we have out differences
fighting a war
that can never be won.
