Remember Me, My Friend

Remember me, my friend, when the days are short and the nights are long. When that winter sun warms your senses, but does not burn, like our friendship. Remember me when the nights are long and cold, and your in despair. Remember our friendship, the memories we made. And if your down, this will surely lift you up. Remember the laughs and fond jokes. Keep them, treasure them in your heart, as I will treasure you in mine. So when that day comes that we must all face, and that darkness begins to call for you, just remember me. And though you walk blindly, there will always be a flicker of light to guide you. Remember me, my friend.
