Never Know (Poem), by YourEyesMyWords
|
A lonely winter song,
The birds had sung along.
Through the courtyard, singing this tune,
I hoped to have seen you soon.
The sunkissed snowflakes,
Fell upon the frozen lakes.
I hear your voice cornering me there,
Suddenly you are all i hear.
The creasent moon,
A quarter passed noon.
The stars danced above the skies,
The sparkles had streamed right into your eyes.
The golden strands,
Fell right into your hands.
I start to shake before your presence,
Hold my ground, trying to grab some sense.
But i had lost all sanity,
As you then looked right through me.
As the creasent moon had formed your smile,
Only if your stary eyes could stay for a while.
Then you turn and walk away,
As for i have nothing to say.
For i shall never hold you near,
Your eyes still glisten, as they end with my tears... |
