Thunder And Lightning (Poem), by YourEyesMyWords
|
Hand in hand,
i see you eyes.
Pistols and lightning,
As the fireworks arise.
The thunder claps their hands,
and i'm here all alone.
Wish i weren't here,
waiting by the phone.
The room is suddenly silent,
waiting for it's next clap.
As hearts and stars race around my head,
i fall into this familiar trap.
Every smile warms my heart,
yet i feel as if the waters are darkening.
Every time that i blush,
i feel as if i am sinning.
This unsinful lust,
just turned into Adam's apple.
I just couldn't resist the aroma,
As Judas' kiss turned my cheek from pale to purple.
The butterflies beg to be free,
yet i hide them in my heart.
The lion fell in love with the lamb,
and now i cant have this being torn apart.
I catch my breath,
and i count to ten.
Even though you are crazy,
I'll have a heart for you till the end.
You
Are
My
Thunder
And
Lightning... |
