Horrified tale of modern and educated world You feel ashamed and develop the cold Is this the world we want to live in and progress? Where nothing is left for us to trace? Women are molested and thrown on road Blocking their efforts and adding shame and load Are they not entitled to live honorable life? Why are they forced to be shamed at the point of knife? Daily one headline for rape and murder I pray to God and live under fear What would be tomorrow’s scene How such things can be tolerated and seen? Why we need strict laws to implement? Why should they ask for justice and launch the movement? How can we bring slur on their being as female? Why even today complete things are dominated by male? Where is the humanity and honor for woman? Why do all living young and alike act as cruel man? What does it indicate of present age? Are we still in primitive stage? I wish and try to bow my head in shame They have been oppressed and blamed Now we see some hope for revival They will have to assert themselves for survival Pages may be short if we start writing We may wonder what to write or delete Each incidence is blot on the humanity as such We have done nothing to curb or as much It is pertinently hunting me from some angles It has formed bad tested tragic triangle We need to correct approach and meaningfully serve All kind of brutally to stop and accord whatever they deserve
