You gave me sight. You gave me smell. You gave me an immune system, So I could stay well. You gave me legs. You gave me ears. You delivered me From all my fears. Your hands held me up, Helped me to walk. You spoke to me, Taught me how to talk. You gave me wings So I could fly. You supported me So I learned to try. When I was On top of the world, You shared my delight, Admired the sight. When I was As low as I could be, You came down, Saved me, set me free. You gave me life. You gave me a voice. You gave me the best thing, An eternal choice. You gave me beauty, Showed me matchless grace, Provided me with a path To your holy face. You give me nourishment, Enable me to grow. You give me light, So for others I can glow. You give me passion, A fire deep inside. You give me guidance, Help me to decide. Your words Give me a promise, One I know You will keep. These promises Give me joy When all I can do Is weep. You make me stronger When I feel I can hold on no longer. You give me hope When I think I can’t cope. You are there for me. You’ll be there for everybody. I thank You for my life. I praise You for saving me. I’m eternally grateful And I always will be. I pray for blessings, But everything I have is a gift.
