MESSAGE IN THE WIND, by Joseph Genovesi
|
I'm lying in bed, can't go to sleep.
Listening to the wind blowing hard against my window pane.
It's driving me insane.
'Cause you called me on the phone.
Said you're tired of my cheating. You need some time to sort
things out all by yourself, and be left alone.
I don't want to be alone. I need to be by your side.
Hold you tight, make love tonight.
Show you I'm sorry for being such a fool.
I'm gonna step back and let your heart decide,
if ,this love of ours can really survive.
I'm asking you in this Message in the Wind.
On this crazy ride we laughed and we cried.
Got through all the pain, like a hurricane.
All the plans we made will never make sense with out you.
Just let me hold you tight, love you tonight.
Throw away my habits, make everything right.
I'm sorry for being such a fool.
I'M gonna step back and let your heart decide,
if, this love of ours can really srurvive.
I'm asking you in this Message in the Wind.
I finally have the nerve to say I'm to blame.
I've rehearsed the lines, said them over and over again.
Forgive me darling. I want to stay.
I'm gonna step back and let your heart decide,
if this love of ours can really survive.
I'm asking you in this Message in the Wind.
