Don't Expect Me Not To Leave, by Loneliness is condescending
|
I'll stand here by your side
That pain you cannot hide
With my deaf ears
I'll listen to your fears
Its time you let me go
I did so long ago
All this manipulation
Altering our eyes perception
Stereotypical form of living
Bring about the changing
Reminders to never trust
Forgiving the creature of lust
Wasn't this forever?
Did we make it together?
The worlds just gone wrong
Will you sing me our song?
Keep asking me to hang on
But I'm already gone
Never really did I believe
This dream we did conceive
Watching you cry out
Your eyes filling with doubt
Shields lay broken
Before your words are spoken
Let us make our final farewell
And image easy to sell
