Solitude, by WittrR
|
Walk the streets in solitude
Only shadows by my side
For this is only a prelude
What becomes after the world dies
You are artificial
All laughs and smiles
The world superficial
Emptiness expressed in miles
Alone in my travels
No one in site
My existence unravels
An emotional fight
Leave it all behind
Loneliness fills the air
Ending all mankind
Forgetting all my cares
Start the fight back
My final word
Slipping through the cracks
Turn my back
And give you the bird.
