Lost, by izzy

to a point where you doubt that its real
to pain where you wish you couldn't feel
to climb out of that hole that you dug
sweep the past right under the rug
when you wish that you didnt have to know
and let every bit of your worries go
i know that dying wont do any good
but sometimes i wish i really could
walk across the street to feel some pain
dig yourself deep and nothing to gain
an empty stare of a thousands yards
our love more unstable than a house of cards
i don't know what to do from here
just when i needed you, you disappeared |

WOW... First I wanted to say thanks for your comment on my poem. And then.... WOW... This is incredibly powerful! The underlying story that the reader gets to interpret puts an entirely new level of deepness on an already intense subject. Very good word choices and amazing flow! |
