TO KEEP AWAY FROM THE MEMORIES OF WANTING TO DIE

BECAUSE I KNOW I HAVE A CHILD
HOW WOULD SHE FEEL IF HER MOMMY WAS ALWAYS DOWN?
SHE IS THE DOMINANT REASON AS TO WHY I SMILE

I SMILE,
TO RID MYSELF OF ALL THE INTERNAL PAIN
I SMILE,
TO DISTRACT MY EYES FROM NOTICING THE CUTS ACROSS MY VEINS

I SMILE, 
BECAUSE LAUGHTER IS SO HARD TO PRODUCE
I SMILE,
AS A WAY TO TELL THE WORLD "YOU LOSE"

Why does life have to be so gosh darn complicated?? If this is a true story, I would just say that everything happens for a reason! Kudos for the amount of feeling and passion that comes through in this!
