Friendships && Flowers. , by Cortney shea. <3
|
Season after season, we've watched each other grow. From pig
tails and bar bangs, to hairstraightners and bobbie pins.
From baggy pants and sneakers, to dresses and heals. From
climbing trees and jumping rope, to cell phones and boys.
From long walks and even longer talks, to fall outs and
arguments. From dropping everything and being by your side,
to unanswered calls and no one left. From being there all
the time, to only being there sometime. Season after season,
we've let each other go. From making plans and hanging out,
to just an occasional text through a phone.
Friendship is fragile like a flower, if left unnurtured it
wilts away and dies, but if the roots are strong enough,
when cared for again it shall grow and bloom once again. |
