"DEAR GOD MAKE ME A BIRD
SO THAT I CAN FLY FAR
FAR FAR AWAY FROM HERE" -Forrest Gump(movie)
when people look at birds they dont always see very much
but to me a bird has always been exquisite autonomous
yes,autonomous in every way at everything
that is why i often wish that i were a bird to be
that is why i often wish i too had wings to fly
because then i would vaunt my beautiful wings and soar past
the hands of time
then hopefully people would see the transcendent beauty
before their eyes
all that i ask is to be that beauty soaring through the sky
and so i ask one more time
