i can't remember what i felt that day
it was a time when the world changed
everyone that was there felt the pain
when the towers fell that faithful day
i can stil hear the screams and feel
the falling tears when an unknown enemy
created all our fear
we all have memories that will never die
as the smoke and steam filled our skies
so many lives were lost tho the spirit remains
in all of our hearts there names will remain
stranger became heroes with courage and speed
to lend out a helping hand in our time of need.

tho 10 years have passed but this day will keep 
us strong and the heartbeat of america will always
be beating strong.
always remember those who lives have passed
and let our flame of freedom burn free and last.
