Thanks for Caring, by Markuz
|
still smiling
still surviving
but hanging on by a threat
do you know im here
do you know im alive
were you listening
or could you just hear me
in standing in front of you
you can see me right here
but the sadness of my body
is invisible to you
or maybe you can see
but you also look past
the pain in my eyes
is so immense
how could you
im crying alone
cuz you aren't around
and when you are
you dont care
do i overcomplicate
your life
am i a burden to you
do you just need me
when your troubles
are too much for
the world
i'll get away
and start again
i'll be alone
but not expected...
i wont tend to
others' cares,
worldly troubles
or others affairs
everthing could be better
when im gone
but these chains
are so heavy
weighed down by surpression
but look what i've found
how perfect for me
the key to freedom
my door leading out...
planted feet, steady hand
seconds later i'm already fine
...as a splatter on the wall
and some chalk on the floor.
