A Mother's Love, by Jellybo2168 Subscribe to rss feed for Jellybo2168

A mothers love can be hard to bear
To stand aside to see how they fair
But as their mum I'll do whatever it takes
To allow them the time, the space, the breaks.
Throughout the years I've recorded it all
So now I've the memories upon my wall
I always knew it could never last
Being their mum has been such a blast
If i could only have frozen one moment in time
Though there's so many locked in my hearts shrine
How I miss that patter of their tiny feet
And can't wait now for the grandchildren that I'd  like to
meet
But nothing and no one can take the place of your own
And it's hard to deal with the empty nest syndrome
But a mothers love has its crosses to bear
So I'll just have to sit back and see how they fair.
