Consider The Birds

By Loneliness is condescending

The arrogant little beast To good to meet half way at least Their selfishness ways stealing up the sky Brash and gracefully ways filing the hearts lies They steal our stow away minds to the heavens To break a heart at seven Place a curse upon those wings Tie them to the earth with steal strings With eyes of blackened greed And if to our cages they fail to heed With a single peaceful shot we will crush their soul A beauty forever to be whole Still... That day a gift of love they did fulfill With freedom once restored Our painful cries were not ignored To their lack lust cages But one for the ages Alone he did return Out hearts have yet to turn Even with this hope Begging to elope
