Thanking You, by Unintended
|
I'm grateful for the love
You presented to me
The way you made me move
Helped me fall for you effortlessly
Dreams were created over days
Longing to take your name
My future was no maze
This was no game
Thanks must also be given
To you for the knife you stuck
Im dead amongst the living
There's no place to duck
You never listened as I begged
The stubborn trait surfaced
It messed with my head
I was thrown in the furnace
I'm thankful for what you did
The way i poured my heart out
How you stood by and watched
As I then slipped on it
Thank you for the shudder
I experience every morning
The way I hate the idea of another
The useless yearning
You feel nothing for me
As dawn turns to dusk
For that I give thanks mostly
My smile is now a mask |
