Roller Coaster Ride (song), by *~Mik@y1@~*
|
I met you
In a strange way.
I thought you were joking,
So I started to go away.
You pursued me,
So I went to you.
You seemed so perfect,
So my affection grew.
Chorus:
I feel like I’m
On a roller coaster ride.
Your emotions drag me
Up, down, side-to-side.
I try to follow you,
But the constant motion
Is starting to make me sick.
I want to hang on
But I’m starting to lose my grip quick.
I gave you something special
That I can never get back.
I gave it to you to keep you
That is the tragic fact.
I was glad you didn’t leave me—
That that was a great fear.
However, each day since then,
New problems and conflicts appear.
Chorus:
I feel like I’m
On a roller coaster ride.
Your emotions drag me
Up, down, side-to-side.
I try to follow you,
But the constant motion
Is starting to make me sick.
I want to hang on
But I’m starting to lose my grip quick.
One day you’re happy
And the next day you’re mad.
You never seem to trust me
And that makes me really sad.
I know you’re life’s been hard—
I will not disagree.
But you shouldn’t make assumptions
I’m better than that—if only you could see.
Chorus:
I feel like I’m
On a roller coaster ride.
Your emotions drag me
Up, down, side-to-side.
I try to follow you,
But the constant motion
Is starting to make me sick.
I want to hang on
But I’m starting to lose my grip quick. © |
