war, by Viskey
|
war what is it good for
absolutley nothing
it's in your face
such a disgrace
from the beginning of man kind
we never unwind
all up tight in fear
gotta protect RIGHT HERE
it's all in the name of peace and hope
they think they got us all dope
pay your taxes don't be late
even so they decide your fate
image all the people sharing all the world
we all talk big we wannd do our part
save the world and act so smart
the kids in the street
can't even walk on their own two feet
always feeling defeat
you ain't been walking with them
bein knocked down again and again
going to bed hungry many a night
the way of life is learning to fight
but let's spend money on war and such
cause I know the results give so much
we keep waiting waiting on the world to change
why do our eyes look so open wide
all joking aside
we know they closed up tighter than a barn door
that's for sure
doing just enough to get by
yet many in the world cry
what do the establishment really know
with their armani suits and bmw'ues
going to the senate just to fight
saying there trying to make our life right
people keep on learnin
solders keep on warring
world keep on turnin
ride the peace train
