From Life to Thanks, by George Chow
|
They say the Sun is too bright today.
I dont know what to comprehend they said.
It burns like poison,
white like high reasons.
Reminds me there is family at home.
Live with it or without it I just can not choose.
Got home for a meal.
Just to be with myself,
mind as well be myself.
Infront of fan laying on bed.
Thinking what are the chances i have,
To make her smile.
I dont feel like playing.
The cards and pieces were there to condemn life.
Maybe the slot machine knows where she may be.
All i imagine is people enjoy the night,
yet treasure those dim lights and reflections.
And the sound of key board and my pen,
makes me feel how I am thankful for my words. |
