to young to care, by eleanor maslen
|
we had a good run
we knew it would end
the greatest pain
lovers to friends
we both moved on
found someone new
but the dreams are back
always of you
we agreed not to love
too young to care
agreed as we kissed
life wasnt fair
we partied hard
not a care in the world
as we lay down to bed
i was your girl
Now i come
to your new home
i lay you some flowers
i'll stand alone
i'll remember your face
and your fingertips
brushing lighty
on my clamy lips
the tears come quickly
each day i breath
i never said i loved you
before you had to leave.
