I don't want to write a poem
just my thoughts.
I loved you for a long time,
but then you had to leave.
I grew lonely
and out of the shadows he came.
He's so sweet and gorgeous
he's loved me from the beginning
I hope you understand.
I do still love you,
but I have to choose him.
I have to let you go,
because if I don't I will
never be myself ever again.
And after that?
I wouldn't be able to live
with myself.
I want you to understand.
I know you would like him
if you two could meet.
He came in and cared
when noone else would.
He was there for me 
in more ways than you ever were.
He brought me back to life
made me feel alive.
I hope you understand
that this is goodbye
and that I'm very sorry,
but I've found someone new
and I have to let you go
or be sorry forever.
