A way out of darkness, A path into light, sunlight shines on me, the moon hangs overhead. No longer depressed, Can see clearer, Happy again, A way out of darkness. I follow the cobblestone, Pavement and asphalt, My feet taking me, Along the Road, A way out of darkness. Many miles traveled, Feet worn, Spirit strong, Head high and shoulders back, From darkness I've left, A new Era begins, A way out of darkness.
