Runner's World, by AUSTIN
|
Thought about that old cliche today
"Follow your heart"
But then I thought about how far you ran away
And I don't know where to start
I understand you're a runner
And that's what you do
Well I'm a runner too
But it's so hard to chase you
See I can't catch you
If you don't want to be caught
And can't teach a heart to forgive and forget
If it doesn't want to be taught
But I'm still here, willing as always
To chase you down if chance should arise
So slow down a little and pace your steps
I'll race to the end, if you are the prize |
