I once knew
A dream so true
Childish pictures I drew
Vivid colors and hue
Of bright pink, greens and blue
The deep of the lake
Or the wisp of flake
Atop a mountain peak
Or pastures weave
Such desires I seek
This life and maze
Its love and grace
A measure of space
The chasm that grew
Between the old and new
Simple virtue so true
Within this space
I must lace
This world
And my place
