Don't you cry, by Ky Moet
|
He was sittin in his cell
stressin away
waitin for the day
when they would let him
see his baby
Free from the gates
away from all the hate
all he ever wanted to do
was hold her and take the worries away
cause she don't know him like shes suppose to
but you're her daddy
so that's the reason
she should be close to you
you hold a spot in my heart
no one will ever take
so having you baby girl was no mistake
sittin in jail my (all my life)
losing all of my pride (all of my pride)
daughter in the streets
her daddy is all she really needs
i said to her
baby girl don't cry
don't you cry
hold your head up high
hold it up high
know that daddy's sorry but he'll be seeing you real soon
I promise you
it's been a couple months hope it doesn't turn into years
cause years turn into tears
how did i end up in here
No this was no expected
it was hard for mommy to grasp it
i know im outta sight
see that when i look you in your eyes
