Beautiful Annihilation, by ZeTz_Darke
|
Unfeeling,
He watches their pleading eyes...
Devoured by their mortality...
Chained to each other...
Their irises refract the flames...
That threaten to swallow the world...
They worked so hard to build.
Cold hearted,
His heart soaks in ice water...
Frost bitten, the numbness now so great...
each beat is ever fleeting...
Almost as though he's already dead...
A specter among the living...
Not capable of love or joy of any sort...
Yet still capable of grinning.
Blood thirsty...
A boyish fascination with the refraction of light...
As it scorches various insects...
His body grew...
But his eyes, it seems stay a similiar hue...
He still sees naught but insects...
Churning in a hateful brew...
Lying amongst his desired wreckage.
Guiltless...
He was never taught right from wrong...
Or perhaps he chose to close his ears to his
own convenience...
As he plans wickedly at schemes to induce more wreckage...
And stall his victims convalescence.
He sees art and meaning...
While others see destruction...
He grins...
As he savors his...
Beautiful Annihilation.
