I sing a song
when i think of you

I write a poem with love
from my heart that is true

 but when i pay attention
to the words i sing
or the words i write
a tear begins to fill my eye
one at a time they flow down my cheeks
reddening my eyes so i cannot see
I know you dont love me
i know i will never have you back
but i will always love you
that is why i cry

So please listen to the words
so my tears are not wasted 
as i cry
