Goodbye Words, by Rodriguez De Paulo
|
I find it hard to write it down,
The truth put into words.
For all I seem to have in my life,
Is loneliness and hurt.
I sit inside this crowded place,
Counting down the days.
For then I can leave this forsaken place,
In so many different ways.
It won’t take long, there’ll be no pain.
To give my wrists the slit.
Just one little cut, not too deep,
And then that will be it.
Goodbye to you my dearest friends,
Who tried to console my pains.
The failure was mine, I couldn’t go on
In world where life’s so vein.
My final words, I write them now,
Are purely whole and true.
I’m sorry to go and leave you here,
But I honestly love you.

very sad. Gives one a sense of hopelessness. Nice work. |

I think that in some way, everyone can relate to having one time in their life being hurt and thought what it would be like to say goodbye...just in my case it came into the form of a poem. Depressing isn't always bad! |
