Over, by Al

You tell me
You love me,now
An hour later
You furrow your brow
You keep singing
The same old song
You know the one
Where im always wrong
do promises hold
until you're dead
or were they said
just to be said
because who wouldn't
wanna hear you'll stay
felt so assured
until that day
Whats the remainder
When we divide me and you
Will i be a stranger
That you walk right through
i would hear your name
and choke on words
i'd picture your smile
tears go unheard
the past meant nothing
if you're not here with me now
when i tell myself to move on
i end up asking myself how
no matter how i long i search
no answer is ever found
why are everyday things harder
without having you around
