Silent Screams, by Kellz
|
My silent screams are louder than your inaction
I beg and plead for a sign- anything
But it’s pointless.
I could talk until the next equinox
and you’d never hear a word.
I could flood a room with the tears I’ve shed.
You’d simply get a raft
And ignore everything
I could drill through you walls
but they’d be back before I flinch
your self-destructing habits are reaching out for company
I won’t join.
This silver surface before you sees all
nothing can be hidden from it
even if broken
the pieces are more together than you
Turn away from it all
And turn to within
Only then will the screams have sound
words heard, tears dried

Very Nice I like the similies very creative, and the frustration of being ignored are easily felt when I read the poem |

I feel the same way. No one ever hears or understands when I try to reach out to them. Its a really good poem. |
